I’m trying to move my site path to:
/www/kinsta

But I’m getting the following error:

> You don’t have the necessary permission to move your projects to the destination folder.

I’ve tried setting the ownership of both the source and destination folders to my user (stephen:stephen); as well as all of the sub folders. And I’ve changed the permissions to 755 (and then, out of frustration, 777) for both the source and destination folders (and all of the sub folders). But I’m still getting this error.

Any ideas?

Hello @Stephen_Akins 👋 welcome to DevKinsta community!

I was able to replicate the same error on my Linux computer. When I set the DevKinsta’s Site Path to:

`/www/kinsta`

I got the same error (though the sub-folders and their permissions were set up correctly to my user account and with 0750):

But when I created that sub-folder (/www/kinsta) under the `/home` folder, it works just fine:

( I had to set the `www` and the` kinsta` subfolders to my user account: `agus:agus` and set the permissions to 0750 )

If you’re using Linux as well, maybe you can try the same method as I used/did above and see if it will be working for you?

Regards,
Agus
